Don Karl was diagnosed with Liver cancer in 2015. He faced the cancer with such admirable strength, like he did with many things in life. During the last year and a half his his family was given the privilege of spending a vast amount of time with him and together as a family. They laughed and they cried but most of all they embraced their families strength, closeness and overwhelming love for one another.
On Wednesday, February 1, 2017 Don passed away. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to A Light of Hope.
A Light of Hope is an important organization to Don and his family. They provide support, hope, love and healing to many families of the youth in our community.
100% of all donations on behalf of Don Karl will go to benefit A Light of Hope in its mission to provide a safe haven where young people and families can find support, hope, healing and freedom from addiction and self-destructive behaviors. A Light of Hope is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation - Tax ID #27-3165158.
